The method the guides are built on Arithmetic worked 2026

How a claim is checked here, place by place and then in pounds

A credit of £15.00 is the specimen this page carries from end to end. Forty times asks £600.00 across the reels, of which the margin expects to keep £24.00, closing the credit at an expected minus £9.00. One of those four figures is printed where anybody can read it. This page walks to the others and counts the walk.

Stated on the banner £15.00 The specimen credit, legible without a click, an account or a name, and the last figure handed over for nothing. Stated, once you go and look minus £9.00 Where that credit is expected to finish once the multiple written into a second document has been applied to it. Not stated before the money goes in 3 quantities An exit floor met at a payment page, paperwork met on the way out, and a contribution rate carried by no document at all.

1

The six places, and the entry price of each

Six answers exist to the question of where a condition is settled, and a seventh has never been needed. Each is set out with what it decides and the price of getting at it.

Place one, the banner. Entry price nought: no click, no account, no name. It decides the quantity advertised and the price asked of whoever reads it. On a headline counting presses rather than pounds it does not even decide a sum, because the worth of a press is not printed on it.

Place two, the written terms. Entry price one document, frequently two, since a bonus document commonly leans on a general one whose existence only the first reveals. It decides the multiple, the window, the ceiling on a stake while credit is live, and the ceiling on what may be taken away.

Place three, the public record. Entry price one search. The British regulator publishes registers for licensed businesses, for personal licences and for premises, every one of them searchable and downloadable entire. It decides who the licence holder is and what the licence lets them do, and it is the only place on the scale not drafted by somebody with a stake in it.

Place four, the cashier. Entry price an account. It decides the smallest sum that will move, which instruments money may be returned to, and what gets deducted.

Place five, the way out. Entry price a balance worth collecting, which is why it is read last and costs most. It decides which paperwork is demanded, how long a hold may run, and whether a question arrives about where the money came from.

Place six, nowhere. No entry price, because nothing is on sale. What a press is worth in pence, how much of a pound staked counts towards the condition, and how violently the outcomes swing are each decided by somebody and published by nobody. Marking a line unreachable is an answer in its own right, and usually the line most worth a figure.

2

Counting the distance to a term

Distance here is measured in decisions rather than pixels, and the ladder has five rungs. Rung nought is the advertisement. Rung one is the first document it links to. Rung two is whatever that document refers onwards to, since nobody opens a paper they have not been told exists. Rung three is the payment screen, needing a registration. Rung four is the exit, needing something worth collecting.

A public record stands beside that ladder rather than on it, costing a search and a name, and the name is frequently the single item an advertisement does supply.

So the question worth asking of an offer is not how many conditions it carries, but how many stood at rung nought when the decision was taken. On the specimen below the answer is one.

3

The subtraction, end to end, on a £15.00 specimen

Take a credit of £15.00, printed on the banner, carrying a forty times condition that sits in the bonus terms.

Work it margin first. Forty lots of £15.00 is £600.00 obliged to cross the reels. At 96 in the hundred the reels retain four pence out of every pound, so £600.00 surrenders £24.00, and £15.00 less £24.00 leaves an expected minus £9.00.

Work it coefficient first and the answer is obliged to agree. Put a play-through of forty beside a four hundredth margin, the product is 1.6, the coefficient is minus 0.6 once taken from unity, and six tenths of fifteen pounds the unhelpful way is nine pounds. Two routes, one result, because the condition does nothing beyond handing staked money across at a rate known in advance.

The specimen credit, read by itself £15.00 The same credit once forty times is applied minus £9.00 What the unopened document was worth £24.00

Counted in presses instead of pounds, £600.00 at 10p is 6,000 of them, and fitting 6,000 into one day means a press every 14.4 seconds without a pause.

Three later steps leave the minus £9.00 where it is and decide instead whether anything can be collected. An exit floor of £20.00, assumed by this page and published in no rule it could cite, stands above anything the expected close would reach, so it converts a real balance into an uncollectable one without altering its size. Paperwork demanded on the way out costs time where it can be satisfied and the whole balance where it cannot. And a contribution rate under a pound in the pound, settled nowhere in writing, multiplies the presses rather than the pounds: at an assumed thirty pence of credit for each pound staked, £600.00 of contribution takes £2,000.00 across the reels, or 20,000 presses.

4

The four numbers, and the reason for each

Ten pence a press. No published source defines what one press costs, names who sets it, or compels anybody to disclose it, so a value has to be imported before a count of presses becomes money. Ten pence keeps the multiplication visible: a hundred presses are ten pounds of turnover.

Ninety-six in the hundred. Chosen because it leaves a margin of exactly four pence, which puts break-even at exactly 25. Hold those two and any multiple lands on one side of that line or the other without a calculator.

Forty times. The band an offshore cashier tends to print where it prints anything, and far enough past 25 for the sign of the answer to be settled rather than marginal.

Weighting held at one. Not a claim about how reels behave, but a way of keeping the one variable a reader cannot see out of the result. Where a page needs a lower rate it names it, as part three does.

A page that moves one of them says so in the line where it moves, and gives the reason. A number computed on a changed assumption and presented as though it came from the house set would be the one defect nobody reading could catch.

5

What this method cannot do

A published rule says what is permitted. It does not say what is happening. Every duty cited here is an obligation on a licence holder, and reading an obligation is not watching it met. No page here is evidence that a rule is being obeyed by anybody.

Place three carries a sharper limit, and the section built on it repeats that limit on every page. An entry fixes the holder and the permission. Who is operating a given address this morning is a separate question it does not answer: licences change hands, the relationship between a holder and a front end is unpublished, and a domain written down at some earlier point may answer to somebody else now. No reading guide accompanies the register, so a conclusion drawn past the face of an entry belongs to whoever drew it.

Two consequences follow. A check at place three is cheap and decisive inside its boundary, so take what it gives and stop. And nothing computed at places one, two and six moves with it: arithmetic on a published multiple is indifferent to who holds the licence.

The offers written about here run on licences issued outside Great Britain, and place three is where that bites hardest, because a record answers only where a published rule exists to be recorded against. Two British rules the method would otherwise test against are simply absent. One forbids a licensee to offer a customer the chance to call a withdrawal back after requesting it, which closes the shortest route from a payout to another stake. The other, live since 19 January 2026, stops a single incentive reaching across the product types the rule names, betting, casino, bingo and lottery, while leaving alone two products inside one type, two separate offers sent to somebody opted in to both, and a credit its holder may spend where they choose. Beyond the licence neither can be checked against, so both drop to place six.

6

The same method, on three guides

The method is easiest to watch at work on claims of different shapes. A headline giving a count of spins and no spin value is the hardest case, since the advertised quantity will not turn into money without a figure held at place six.

A staged welcome package shows place two doing the damage: percentages across several payments, a multiple applied to each credit on its own in a second document, and a subtraction nobody performs because the addition was left to the reader first.

The register check done properly shows place three at full value and full narrowness together: which fields to read and the single conclusion an entry will support.

Running it takes four steps and no special knowledge. Copy the claim as published rather than as remembered. List each quantity the claim would need before it becomes a sum of money. Write one place against each, unreachable included where that is the honest entry. Then work out the claim standing alone, work it out again with every condition you can actually get at, and rule off whatever separates the two.
